I was nine-years old when my grandfather first bought me my first copy of a Harry Potter book. It was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, it had released that year, 1999. It wasn’t even a crazy rage yet. And since then, we have seen so much fan fiction, poetry, parodies, puppies dressed up as wizards and what not.
And now the Japanese have unveiled the Manga avatars of the loved Potter characters and well, they are quite cute. Not like there weren’t enough fan manga potter art online already. But a Japanese studio has made these new ones with a license from the warner brothers. They plan to sell Potter merchandise with these illustrations and the Warner brothers will obviously get a large share of the revenues. Potter fans with love for Manga should have no reason to complain.
